The most significant change in this version of Firefox is obviously the Java-script engine’s performance which can result in a performance increase of 50% or more but it only applies while loading some web sites. Few new icon mouse hoover effects which looks cool. And now users can know whether “Do-not-Track” feature is enabled/disabled via a Java-Script. If you care about the numbers, then they say that it’s around 30% or more faster this time when comparing with previous releases. Some of the other main features to mention… And although I don’t care that much since I don’t use Mac OSX but if you do, then according to Mozilla now Firefox supports “two finger swipe” too. Simultaneous to this, they’ve also released a totally re-designed version for the Android platform. As with previous releases, this version too includes few improvements (both performance/speed and enhanced security, etc) and bug fixes as usual. Few hours ago Mozilla released the latest version of the Firefox Web browser 9.0.
